Welcome to The Aerie Foundation
Established in 2004, our mission is to help address social challenges experienced by the more vulnerable segments in the Bermuda community especially the youth and elderly. We provide assistance directly to beneficiaries in the community through our own programs, or indirectly through partnerships with other local individuals and groups.
Our flagship Aerie Seniors Program has been offering not-for-profit services to older adults and their family caregivers in Bermuda since 2007. The main areas of focus are:
- Home Care Services – provides professional at-home services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Family Caregiver Support - provides professionally facilitated monthly support group and coping resources to individuals and families responsible for caregiving.
- Sliding Scale - provides financial support to older adults who need homecare services but cannot afford to pay.
